Affordable Housing and Rental Assistance offered at Housing Authority of the City of Walla Walla

Offers a variety of affordable housing options throughout Walla Walla County for families, disabled, and elderly who are low income.   -  Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher: federally funded program which provides tenant based rental assistance to eligible families. Eligible families pay approximately 30-40% of their monthly adjusted gross income towards their tenant rent. -  Affordable Housing: rental units for households of very-low to moderate income who might not be able to locate suitable housing in the private rental market. Eligible families are offered a unit according to the necessary bedroom size of the family's composition. -  Tenant Based Rental Assistance: tenant based rental assistance to eligible families. Also assists eligible families with security and utility deposits. The target population is single homeless females and homeless families with children.
