Y Social Impact Center

For nearly half a century, since 1973, the Social Impact Center has been the beacon of social services excellence, operating under the umbrella of YGS. Our focus has been on serving youth and young adults who have faced various forms of trauma, such as homelessness, foster care, exploitation, systemic poverty, and racism. Our comprehensive approach spans housing, behavioral health, education, employment, and violence intervention and prevention. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, the Social Impact Center has demonstrated its agility and commitment to community well-being. In response to the surge in demand for mental health and substance use services, we swiftly expanded our counseling services to all age groups, ensuring enhanced community support.
