Re-Housing Program offered at Northwest Community Action Center

Offers an emergency re-housing program for families who are homeless. Provides rental deposit assistance and motel vouchers to help get out of homelessness. Also provides resources to help find local housing.

Eligibility

Low-income families with children, disabled individuals, and seniors who are chronically homeless (being homeless more than one year) are priority, but anyone who is currently homeless and low income in Yakima County can sign up for assistance; call for more details.

NCAC is part of a group known as “America’s Poverty Fighting Network.” NCAC helps those who are at-risk and low-income so they can reach a greater level of self-support. To do this, we advocate and work with local communities and businesses. NCAC serves the mid and lower Yakima Valley. We provide Housing Support Services, Utility Assistance Services, Weatherization Services and Community Education Services.
