Residential Substance Abuse Treatment offered at Key Recovery and Life Skills Center

Provides a highly-structured long-term residential substance use disorder treatment, frequently followed by a medium intensity recovery house treatment.  Average stay varies, up to one year, depending on the client’s individual needs and treatment recommendations.   Long-term residential offers individual and group therapy, skill building, emotional management and 24-hour behavioral monitoring and interventions as well as daily seminars and recreational activities. Clients that would like to obtain employment skills may receive job training at the agency's recycling plant. The family services portion of the program provides parenting classes, coordinates  visitation and assists individuals with children.  Residents learn and practice office procedures, administrative skills, community relations and home maintenance.   Recovery House program provides substance use treatment with individual and group counseling and a community re-entry focus including financial management, vocational counseling and recovery support development.  Food, room and sundries are provided.  Medical and dental services are offered through local medical facilities on an as needed basis.  Provides transportation for client appointments, including hospital, clinic or court appointments.

Application process

Client's outpatient referral provider should forward a current copy of their drug and alcohol assessment for review. Call for more information.

Accepts private pay and WA Apple Health (Medicaid). Call for more information.

Eligibility

Accepts applicants ages 21+ (rare to accept ages 18+ due to smoking laws). Accepts pregnant women (only if they are in first trimester). People with a history of mental illness may be required to submit a psychiatric evaluation to determine eligibility.   Those convicted of a sex offense are not eligible. Does not accept couples. Family program can accept children to visit, ages 12 and younger, whose parents are enrolled in the drug treatment program.
