Sacha's House offered at Lighthouse Northwest

Community living home for women with children who have fled domestic violence and are no longer being pursued by an abuser. Offers a trauma-informed, holistic approach to healing and building a new life. Women and children participate in a safe, affirming, and accountable community and are equipped and empowered with the time, space, resources, and support necessary to heal and develop thriving lives. Clients receive daily support from their care team (mentor, program manager, life coach, and advocate), and have access to additional critical services to assist with transitioning to sustainable independent living.

Fee

Monthly program fee ranging between 10-30% of the individual's net monthly income. First 90 days are free.

Eligibility

Serves women 18 years of age and older with children, who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to domestic violence. Must not be actively fleeing and must not be in immediate danger due to DV. Clients must also be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening with no evidence of active addiction. Unable to serve those with ongoing substance use disorder. Must be willing to participate in random drug and alcohol testing, as well as all program requirements and individual growth plan goals. Background checks are completed for all household members 13 and older. Unable to accept those with felony convictions involving sex crimes.
