WIC Program offered by Public Health in Seattle & King County at Vashon Satellite Office

WIC is a food assistance and nutrition education program for pregnant and postpartum people and infants and children under age 5. Offers: • Healthy foods • Nutrition education • Breastfeeding support • Connections to additional resources and programs: Website: https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dph/health-safety/health-centers-programs-services/maternity-support-wic/wic-supplemental-nutrition-program/resources Monthly benefits are valued at approximately $150 for a family of two per month for nutritious foods. • Many local grocery stores accept WIC monthly benefits through our WIC Card. • Many local farmers market and farm stands accept WIC fruit and vegetable benefits through the WIC QR code on their WIC benefit card or through the WIC shopper app.
