HARPS - Housing and Recovery through Peer Services offered at Serenity House Housing Resource Center - Forks

Provides limited financial assistance and peer counseling services to achieve stable housing for individuals with mental health, substance abuse, or co-occuring disorders.  Peer counselors help provide guidance and assistance to obtain and maintain stable housing. Additionally peer counselors act as mentors to help empower, encourage responsibility, and promote active participation in recovery.

Prioritizes individuals with mental health, substance abuse, or co-occuring (mental health and substance abuse) issues. Eligibility is determined by HARPS Housing Specialist.

Serenity House of Clallam County

Serenity House is dedicated to reducing homelessness in Clallam County. Agency programs provide very low income homeless families and individuals with services including shelter, permanent supportive housing and housing assistance through three regional housing resource centers. Serenity House is the lead agency of Coordinated Entry; works collaboratively with other entities; advocates for safe, decent, and affordable housing; is the leader in developing and implementing the Ten Year Plan to End Homelessness in Clallam County; and is nationally recognized as a leader in addressing homelessness in rural communities.
