Advocates are not attorneys and cannot represent in court, however they can help navigate the legal system and provide support and accompaniment through processes such as protection orders, divorce proceedings and parenting plans.

DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women's Network)
Provides a full service domestic violence agency that offers holistic support for survivors of domestic violence and their children. DAWN provides a 24 hour advocacy support line, a confidential emergency shelter, mobile advocacy, legal advocacy, support for immigrant survivors of abuse, various support groups, domestic violence informed therapy, the Children's Domestic Violence Response Team (CDVRT), children's programming, systems-based advocacy and education and prevention support for the community.
