Services for Substance Using Pregnant People offered at Harborcrest Behavioral Health

Provides specialized care to pregnant women in need of substance use disorder treatment. Treatment consists of a 26-day residential program, focusing on restoring health, personal discovery and long-term recovery. Can arrange transportation to the facility from anywhere in Washington state. Special Care - Medical detoxification - Prenatal assessment with OB lab work - Daily fetal heart tones and monitoring of fetal movement - Obstetrical care with a local provider - Referrals to long-term treatment Special Programs - Daily walks and opportunities to attend 12-step meetings - Education on pregnancy, nutrition, and hygiene - Individualized inpatient treatment - Facilitated visitation with biological children with Child Protective Services - Introduction to parenting classes that focus on the needs of parents who are in recovery

Application process

Call for intake and bed date information. Provides transportation for applicants entering or completing the program.

Fee

Chemically Using Pregnant Women's Services (CUPS) is primary third party payer for this program. There is no cost to clients.

Eligibility

Women over the age of 18, who are in their first or second trimester of pregnancy, no more than 34 weeks pregnant. Serves Washington state.

HarborCrest Behavioral Health offers a full continuum of addiction counseling services: Detoxification and Inpatient care (with several specialty tracks: SUPP program (Substance Using Pregnant Persons), Co-Occurring Disorders), Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient Program, Specialty Relapse groups, continuing care support groups, and ADIS (alcohol and drug information school).  We also offer Drug Screening services for employers and individuals needing drug screening. We offer both DOT and non-DOT testing, including alcohol, drug and hair testing as well as other harmful substances.
