Home Care Services offered at Senior Life Resources NW's Home Care Services in Sunnyside

Provides licensed non-medical personal care needed to remain independent and live safely in own home. Available 24 hours daily. Provides assistance with light housekeeping; laundry, ironing, and changing bed linens; shopping and errands; bathing, grooming & incontinence care; standing and walking; medication reminders; diet maintenance (meal planning, preparation & cleanup); transferring & positioning; use of hoyer or other lift devices; companionship and supervision; dressing; eating; recreational activities, walks & outings; arranging for & transportation to local appointments to doctor visits, pharmacies, hairdressers/barbers, or for visits with friends. Also provides nurse delegated care, family care, respite for family caregivers so they can have time to take care of other responsibilities or take time for themselves, supportive care for developmentally disabled individuals, and Alzheimer and related dementia care.

Application process

An initial home visit with program supervisor staff must be completed to identify client care needs, confirm service schedule requirements, and service authorization or payment before scheduled services are started.

Fee

Varies by need, many clients are served through the State COPES program.

Eligibility

There are no eligibility requirements for self pay clients. Government funded services require an authorization through your local AAA Senior Information & Assistance office, Development Disability Department office, or VA Assistance office.
