Tangible Needs Assistance offered at Black Diamond Community Center

Operates a food pantry that also provides pet food for residents of Black Diamond, Covington, Maple Valley and Ravensdale.   Clothing is available depending on donations. Can occasionally provide gas vouchers for clients with a verifiable job interview or medical appointment.

Eligibility

Residents of Black Diamond, Covington, Maple Valley and Ravensdale. Clothing is also offered to residents of the Enumclaw School District. Clients outside of the area served will be given a food bag on their first visit and directed to their local food pantries. Gas vouchers are only available for confirmed medical appointments and job interviews.

Black Diamond Community Center

Multiservice community center provides a variety of programs for all ages. Services include a before- and after-school program at Black Diamond Elementary. Offers a hot meal, health programs and activities for seniors. Operates an emergency food pantry that includes food for pets. Also provides emergency assistance for gas and electric utilities and eviction prevention as well as clothing, blankets and gas vouchers. Coordinates a one-day school supplies event each year.
