Outpatient Mental Health Services offered by Ryther in Seattle

Offers individual and family therapy. Individual child counseling allows each child a safe environment in which to explore and work on issues important to them.   Therapy with adolescents focuses on problem-solving and developing age-appropriate life skills.   Family therapy includes all who are involved in direct care of the child.  Also provides mental health assessments as well as psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.  Brief intensive treatment is available for families who are experiencing an immediate crisis situation. Early Childhood: Works to meet the mental health needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families. Provides parent coaching to help caregivers be more effective, and offers treatment for behavioral challenges, trauma, depression, and anxiety among other mental health disorders. ​

Application process

Call the Central Intake Department. Children are referred from many sources including state, city or private agencies, parents or relatives, schools and doctors.

Fee

Accept WA Apple Health (Medicaid), Commercial Insurance, and self-pay clients.

Eligibility

Children, youth, and young adults struggling with challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, trauma, and more.

Provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents and their families. Programs include outpatient substance use disorder treatment for adolescents, psychiatry, psychology and masters level therapists to provide evaluations, individual and family therapy, medication management, and mentoring for youth with behavioral and emotional problems. We also coordinate social skills groups for youth on the spectrum.
