Older Adult Services at Family Caregiver Support Program offered by Jewish Family Service in Seattle

Provides support services to adult caregivers including:  -  Referral to essential community resources -  Support groups and individual counseling for caregivers -  Practical training in effective care-giving -  Limited respite care  - Offers services in English and Russian.

Eligibility

Unpaid, adult caregivers living in King County, caring for someone age 60 and older or an adult age 18 and older with a disability. Care recipient must not be on Medicaid funded long term care services (i.e. COPES, CFC). Care recipient must not be living in an assisted living facility, adult family home or skilled nursing facility.
