Provides bilingual, bi-cultural (Spanish/English) support for residents who are unable to, or unsure of how to, access resources on their own or problem-solve issues that present with barriers moving forward.

The program provides clients with interpretation services so that they can access resources such as WIC, legal aid, shelters, etc.
Helps the client break down their needs into manageable steps, making problem solving less overwhelming and providing the skills necessary for them to navigate service systems in the future.
Provides advocacy and case management services for victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and other crimes.
Offers evidence-based parenting groups in Spanish.
Provides programming for parents of children birth to 12 focusing on violence and rape prevention to indigenous and Latino communities.
Offers document translation and notary for a fee of $25 if the translation is a simple document, such as a birth certificate or guardianship assignment. If the document is larger, such as letter or program brochures, a per page price is negotiated.

Provides a general assistance and referral service for both immigrants and people/organizations that provide services to immigrants. Assists Spanish-speaking clients with legal, medical, translation, employment, and cultural support.
Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center (KIAC) is the only organization in the West Salish/Sound Region exclusively focused on providing immigrant-centric advocacy and services. As our mission statement says, Recognizing the inherent worth and dignity of all people, KIAC works for the well-being and empowerment of immigrants through education, advocacy and social justice. KIAC envisions a community where everyone, regardless of where they were born, has fair and equitable access to justice, respect and opportunity.
At KIAC, we seek to connect clients to existing resources, advocate for their accessibility and provide direct services to fill in the gaps. .
Services include:
-Paperwork and phone calls: Help with reading and writing documents in English or Spanish, filling out forms on paper or online, and making phone calls
-Bills: Help with applying for financial assistance for medical bills or setting up payment plans
-Learning English: Information about local English classes, and 1-on-1 conversation practice (virtual)

-Dentist: Low cost dental care with Peninsula Community Health Services. To schedule, text or call (360) 900-9300
-Clothing: Free clothing is available by appointment on Tuesdays. Call/text (360) 440-2376
-General information and referrals for other needs, including information about school enrollment, health insurance, help for victims of domestic violence, housing, employment, mental health services, civil legal aid, and other resources. While we cannot provide case management, we will do our best to act as your interpreter and help you seek resources to navigate difficult situations.
