Helps youth and families navigate the school and court systems, coordinates and connects them to needed services such as educational support, housing, mental health and substance use disorder treatment, employment, and positive youth development activities.   Case Managers also provide outreach and advocacy, as well as culturally and linguistically appropriate support services.   They create linkages for youth and families, maintain regular contact with youth, and monitor youth progress towards reaching individual service goals.

Provides medical, dental and mental health referrals as well as mentoring and case management.   Works to reduce absenteeism and to increase academic performance.   Two weeks notice required for interpreter services.  Lushootseed is the language of the Native people of the South Salish Sea. In Lushootseed, "Kwacil" means dawn or daybreak".

Provides case management, support, and access to social services, increases parental involvement in their children's education and improves the academic achievement of at-risk students. Activities to accomplish the program goals vary from school to school, including parent education, family focused interventions, crisis support and referral to appropriate social service agencies. Family support workers assist low-income families with referrals to medical and dental services.   Program available on-site at many elementary schools in Seattle Public Schools.   However, since not all schools have an on-site worker, Family Support Workers serve the remaining schools on an as needed basis.
