Intensive treatment and recovery support can include individual, group or family counseling, case management and referral to community services. Staff consists of licensed mental health and chemical dependency professionals, case managers, nurses, physicians and psychiatrists.

Provides an opiate substitute treatment program, including suboxone. Hosts evening and day support groups, including gender-specific groups and LGBTQ groups. Also has IPAs (In-Person Assisters) on staff to help clients and the general public enroll in health insurance, if needed. Volunteer opportunities available.

Offers psychiatric medication evaluation and management services. Chemical dependency and gambling assessment and counseling are also available.

Uses evidence -based practices to provide treatment and case management to youth and their families. Provides substance use disorder treatment through groups and individuals sessions, mental health treatment to those with co-occurring disorders. DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.  Intensive Outpatient Treatment  Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance. This may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development).  Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires fewer than nine hours per week of attendance. This may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development). Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.  Prescribes suboxone to eligible clients.  Agency provides DBHR-certified service(s).

Goodheart Behavioral Health provides Adult Intensive Outpatient substance use disorder treatment. Substance Abuse assessments (18 years and older) can enroll into Outpatient Treatment (OP). Outpatient services will use a person-centered, holistic model of care to assist individuals 18 and older who are experiencing mental health issues. Assessment of individual Mental, Emotional, Physical and Social needs and treatment planning in individual or group therapy session. Most insurances are accepted or sliding fee scale of payment.
