Provides a 24-bed intensive inpatient and residential drug and alcohol recovery program primarily to Native Americans. Services are culturally based, including pregnant & post-partum care, individual counseling, and support group meetings.

Some component requirements are job therapy (introduction of work ethic through work at the Welcome Home Society's retail partner, the PriceCo), individual and group counseling, and spiritual practice. Similar to the 12-step model, program encourages participants to explore their own spirituality from within any religious framework, with no proselytizing. Residents are also encouraged to complete their GED during the program. Program is offered at two houses, in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park. Minimum stay is 24 months, maximum is 36. Women interested in the program will be referred to the Canadian location.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment Provides outpatient substance use disorder services that usually requires 9-20 hours per week of attendance, which may include individual and group counseling, 12-step meetings, social and recreational activities, educational and vocational services, life skills training, primary health care, perinatal health care, a program for family members, relapse prevention services, a continuing care program and supportive services (such as child care, transportation and parenting skills development). Inpatient Treatment Provides structured treatment programs and support services in the context of a 24-hour, supervised environment for individuals who have problems related to excessive use of alcohol and/or use of other drugs. Offers a Christian-based 6-month inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, including individual and group counseling, spiritual counseling and 12-strep recovery, and community volunteering opportunities. Participants cannot be employed when applying for the program as it is an intensive inpatient program to focus on Substance Use Disorder issues. Provides education about alcoholism and other drug addiction. Teaches communication and coping skills. Recreation activities available include an exercise area, game room, library of books, group outings, and a canteen. Chapel attendance and Bible study are required as part of the program. Space is available for 30 men in shared living arrangements. Clients stay 6 months in the initial program phase (Bridge 1) and have options to continue into other phases that can amount to 14 months. There is extensive support for after-care including Life and Career Building Skills classes for participants in their last 2 months of phase 1 as well as case management for Supportive Housing and Employment. Participants who relapse will be expelled from the program. After completion of the program, The Salvation Army has additional program components to help individuals re-establish themselves into the community.

Clients that would like to obtain employment skills may receive job training at the agency's recycling plant. The family services portion of the program provides parenting classes, coordinates visitation and assists individuals with children. Residents learn and practice office procedures, administrative skills, community relations and home maintenance. Recovery House program provides substance use treatment with individual and group counseling and a community re-entry focus including financial management, vocational counseling and recovery support development. Food, room and sundries are provided. Medical and dental services are offered through local medical facilities on an as needed basis. Provides transportation for client appointments, including hospital, clinic or court appointments.
